About the Cobra OPTM LS Driver
The Cobra OPTM LS is the low-spin, player-oriented driver in Cobra's 2026 OPTM lineup. It features a 460cc head with a compact address profile and a distinctive black-on-black color scheme that gives it a clean, tour-level appearance. The high carbon content crown and sole save weight that gets repositioned for better performance, continuing the design approach Cobra has used in recent generations but with a significant new twist: POI optimization.
POI (Product of Inertia) is a measurement that accounts for club rotation across all three axes during off-center strikes, not just the two axes that traditional MOI covers. Cobra engineered the OPTM LS to have a POI of 292, down from 440 in the previous Darkspeed LS, which translates to up to 23 percent tighter shot dispersion. The H.O.T face insert uses 15 variable-thickness zones to maintain ball speed across a wider area of the face.
The LS is the most adjustable head in the OPTM range, with three moveable weight ports at the heel, toe, and back positions. The stock configuration ships with 11-, 7-, and 3-gram weights that can be swapped between ports. Cobra's FUTUREFIT33 hosel system provides 33 unique loft and lie combinations for precise fitting. The driver comes in a shorter 44.5-inch tour length build as standard, paired with the Mitsubishi Kai'li Dark Waves shaft.
