Titleist 2023 T200 Black Single Iron

The Titleist T200 Black is a limited-edition version of the 2023 T200 iron, wrapped in a Titanium Carbide Vapor finish that gives the entire club a blacked-out appearance. Underneath the finish, it is the same iron — hollow-body construction with a forged face, D18 tungsten weighting, and the full suite of T200 technologies. The Titanium Carbide Vapor coating is more durable than PVD finishes commonly used on dark irons, so the black look holds up longer through regular play before showing wear.

The T200 Black ships with color-matched components: True Temper AMT Black or AMT Tour White shafts with an onyx powder coat, and all-black Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grips. The visual consistency from grip to sole gives the set a distinct look in the bag. Internally, the construction is unchanged from the standard T200 — an average of 90 grams of D18 tungsten in the mid-to-long irons, a stiff internal chassis with Max Impact Technology, and a dual taper forged face that wraps around the sole for speed retention on low strikes.

Performance matches the standard T200 exactly. Ball speeds are high for a players-distance iron, with enough forgiveness to keep off-center hits in play. The stronger loft structure delivers distance that competes with game-improvement irons, but the compact head shape, thin topline, and minimal offset look like a players iron at address. The limited-edition nature means availability can be inconsistent, and the black finish, while durable, will eventually show wear marks on the sole and leading edge.
